Laurie E. Smith is a spiritual life coach, energy healer, writer and mother. She is the author
of two books Soul Wisdom: A Guide to Miraculous Living, Book One, and Spirit In Disguise: A Guide to Miraculous
Living, Book Two. She has developed and offered many different courses and programs over the years. Her work is
designed to support others in connecting with their intuition, following their dreams and experiencing everyday miracles. Laurie's professional credentials include being certifed as the following: Professional
Soul Coach(tm), Reiki Master, Feng Shui consultant, NeuroLinguistic Programming Practitioner, PassionCrafter Facilitator,
and TimeLine Therapy(tm) Practitioner. She is the founder of the DreamCatching Process (tm)--a five-step process for moving
concept into reality and creating the life of your dreams. She has been involved in energy work since 1998, and was the founder of The Healing House, a holistic healing center in Lambertille, New Jersey, where she taught workshops and met privately with clients. She
has also taught meditation, stress reduction, Reiki, energy healing and many of her original life coaching workshops at retreat
centers, yoga centers, schools, corporations and organizations throughout the U.S. Her study has included programs with renown healers Nancy SantoPietro and Denise Linn, as well as at
the Institute for Holistic Studies in New Hope, PA. She has taken workshops in energy healing and medical intuition with Rosemary
Altea, Barbara Brennan, Rob Jokel, Caroline Myss, Mona Lisa Schultz and John Windwalker; in intuition development with Nancy
Rosanoff and James Van Praagh; in shamanism with John Perkins and William Two Feather; life coaching-related topics with Martha
Beck, Wayne Dyer, Debbie Ford, Julie Jordan Scott and Ilyana Vanzant; and meditation with Jon Kabat Zinn and Lama Surya Das,
among others. She graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communications in 1991.
From 1995
and 1999, Laurie ran her own public relations business WordSmith Communications, Inc. Before that, she specialized in media
relations and healthcare public relations at Burson-Marsteller in New York City and Johnson & Johnson in Raritan,
New Jersey.
Laurie is deeply committed to her call as mother and partner, and is constantly tuning in to the best
possible pathway for her life in each moment. Her greatest joy is being partner, best friend and companion of 19 years to
her husband Jim Bowbliss, and mother to their miraculous children Devin James and Kaya Grace. She lives with her family
in the San Francisco area. She loves sitting in the sun,
writing, painting, rowing crew, playing in water, kayaking, hiking, learning from children, being in nature and hanging in
hammocks. Laurie is passionate about writing, and dreams of having many more books published.
